TeeWee

TeeWee is a completely recreational offering for 4 year old boys and girls. It’s an introduction to baseball, during which they will pick up awareness of the structure of baseball. No score is kept and parents are allowed and encouraged to go onto the field to direct the players.

Tee-Ball

Tee-Ball introduces 5 & 6 year olds to the fundamental rules and skills of baseball. Teams typically have 12 -13 players and the teams are drafted by the coaches. Games are 3 or 4 innings in length and every player bats in each inning.

There are approximately 13 games in a season. Practice starts in early March and games start in April.

Pitching Machine

Pitching Machine continues the skill building for 7 and 8 year olds that starts in Tee-Ball and adds in the aspect of hitting a moving ball, pitched very accurately from a pitching machine.

Teams typically have 12 - 13 players drafted by the coaches. Games are up to 6 innings in length with a 1:15 time limit and is very close to real baseball, where the sides change at every 3 outs. However, for every offensive turn through the third inning, there is a 5 run limit. Also, if a team is leading by 10 runs after 3 innings or 15 runs after four innings, the game is halted.
There are approximately 13 - 15 games in a season. Practice starts in March and games start in April.

Minors

The Minors division is the introduction to real baseball with live pitching for 9 and 10 year-olds. There is a lot going on here…pitching, stealing on passed balls, and more strategy.

Teams typically have 12 players and the teams are drafted by coaches. Games are up to 6 innings in length with a 1:15 time limit, but can run longer in the event of a tie at the end of regulation play. As in Pitching Machine, for every offensive turn through the third inning, there is a 5 run limit. Also, if a team is leading by 10 runs after 3 innings or 15 runs after four innings, the game is halted.
There are approximately 10 - 12 games in a season. Practice starts in March and games start in April. There two halves of the season, each with a National and American league champion. In the event the halves are split between two teams, there is a championship game for that league.

Majors
The Majors Division plays by the same rules as Minors, but for 11 and 12 year olds. The pitching is better and faster.
